From luminescent lanterns to the ever-popular light tunnel, don’t forget to stop by the festive model train with more than 3,300 feet of fun decorated tracks. This event is perfect for the whole family and will leave everyone filled with holiday cheer.

Gingerbread Lane At Old Town Artisan Studios

If you follow us on Instagram, you may have seen us raving about Gingerbread Lane. If you didn’t see the post, we highly recommend you take the family to Gingerbread Lane this holiday season. Open December 10, and 17. 

You can visit the enchanted Gingerbread Lane, a winter wonderland at Old Town Artisan Studios. You’ll find plenty of holiday cheer with multiple trees, twinkling lights, and a large tree next to a holiday cottage. 

They also offer gingerbread cookies, hot cider, cookie decorating, and ornament painting. How much fun?

2022 Holiday Parade Of Lights And Festival

On December 10th from 5:45 pm to 10 pm, head to Desert Hot Springs for their annual Holiday Parade Of Lights and Festival. The parade and festival theme for 2022 is musical madness. The festivities include free face painting, cotton candy, and ferris wheel rides. 

The kids can meet Santa and Mrs. Claus and take photos with them. There will also be live performances by Hindsite and some amazing food vendors.

Merry Movie Nights 

Join the Gardens On El Paseo every Saturday until December 17 for Merry Movie Nights, showtime at 5 p.m. You’ll have no problem getting in the holiday spirit while hanging out with family and friends to enjoy a holiday movie at this outdoor cinema.

Make sure to bring blankets and your delicious food, then sit down to relax under the starry sky. Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for children under 16. It’s a fun night out for the whole family!

In Palm Springs on December 17 at 9 am, the Santa Paws 5K and Lil’ Elf Dash begins. Get active with the whole family,  friends, and even your furry pals. You can walk, run or stroll this 5K! You will be doing the 5K in style as all participants will be given a 5-piece Santa suit to wear. How much fun is that?

Those 10 and under can participate in the Lil ‘Elf Dash and receive a fun elf shirt. Make sure to bring your pooch and dress them for the occasion. The event is hosted by the Palm Springs Marathon Runners and they invite you out to show support and raise funds for the Guide Dogs of the Desert. It’s sure to put you in a holly jolly mood! 

The Magic Of Lights At Empire Polo Club

Running until January 1 every night from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., you’ll find dazzling lights at the Empire Polo Club. The Magic of Lights is a drive-through holiday light show that will enhance your holiday joy. 

From the comfort of your own car, you’ll wind through the sparkling path of Greater Palm Springs’ holiday tradition. The Magic Of Lights features all of your favorite holiday scenes and characters of the season!

Winterfest is happening until January 1, 2023, in Indian Well. You can discover the delight of the holidays with swaying palm trees and a ton of family fun. Sip hot chocolate, take a spin on the outdoor ice-rink, and enjoy a unique golf experience – Shots in the Night. You won’t be able to help but get into the holiday spirit at this fun event! 

The ice rink cost about  $20 for adults, $15 for kids, and $10 per skate rental.
