Castelli Family Vineyards

A winery that embraces family love, the Castelli Family Vineyards began as a hobby but has expanded to over 3,000 vines. This Italian-style tasting area will have you feeling right at home as you indulge in Pinot Noir, Cabernet Franc, Tempranillo, and Sangiovese among others. 

Head to the Castelli Family Vineyards for wine tastings every 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month, from 12 pm to sunset. You can call to RSVP for wine tastings.

La Finquita Winery & Vineyard

La Finquita means “little farm” and this vineyard has been cultivating its eight acres of vines since 1988. The owners of this charming vineyard have a passion for the modern romance of wine. Join them in their relaxing indoor tasting room or take in the beautiful views from their outdoor tasting patio. Reservations are highly recommended for the wine tastings at La Faquinta. Their selection is well-rounded and features a nice selection of reds and dessert wines. Try the Petit Verdot, Syrah, and Cabernet Sauvignon among others.

Turtle Rock Ridge Vineyard Winery

At Turtle Rock, you can take a winery tour to get the full experience of everything you ever wanted to know about how wine is made. During the tour, they will show you the process of how they make their wine before you settle in for your very own tasting. Voted the best wine and tasting room in Ramona since 2013, this is a can’t miss tasting experience. The tasting room at Turtle Rock is open Thurs-Fri from 2 pm to 6 pm, Saturday from 12 pm to 8 pm, and Sunday from 12 pm to 6 pm. Pets are welcome to enjoy the scenic patio views with their owners. Try their Sauvignon Blanc, Berry Sangria, or their Zinfandel among others.

Milagro Farms Vineyard & Winery

The Milagro Farms Vineyard and Winery is committed to working harmoniously with the land and cultivating wine that honors the characteristics of Ramona Valley. This sprawling 110-acre winery produces 3,000 cases of wine per year. At the Milagro tasting room, you’ll find stunning views, fantastic service, and award-winning wines. Tastings are available on weekends from 12 to 6 pm. Their offerings include Merlot, Chardonnay, and Atletico among others. Chuparosa Vineyards

At Chuparosa Vineyards you can enjoy beautiful views on the five acre property. Chuparosa means hummingbird in Spanish and the wine here fits the bill of strong, confident, and flavorful. These wines are 100% estate grown, produced, and bottled right on site. Wine tastings are on weekends from 11 am to 5 pm in the air-conditioned tasting room. Try one of Chuparosas great selections of Zinfandel, Malbec, and Albarinos among others.

Vineyard Grant James

If you are excited about wine tastings then you won’t want to miss Vineyard Grant James, voted #2 vineyards in the United States by Travel & Leisure. This winery takes tastings to a new level by offering wine and painting classes, as well as exclusive dinners in the vineyard. Tastings are available Friday through Sunday from 12-6 pm and include complimentary cheese and crackers (no reservations needed). Dogs are welcome to join their owners on the gorgeous tasting patio. Sample a selection of Vineyard Grant James’ Rose, Syrah, and Viognier among others.
